Carla Parr
Hi

Bill Raczka
Jan 20th: Wow! That was fun. The website won't let me post scores yet. Here is a recap. Eric = 130 Sweet Willy = 126 Lyle = 123 Theresa = 93 Andy = 69 Carla = 60 Ayonna = 40. Based on my calculations, we beat our opponents. TEAM SCORE = 472 (Average = 118)
We are a formidable group!

Team:
My brand-new bowling ball arrived yesterday. I’m dying to try it out. I’ll be heading to Main Event in Columbia this afternoon (Saturday); maybe around 3:00pm. Let me know if you are interested. I can modify the arrival time based on your schedule.
Main Event - 10300 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 1615, Columbia, MD 21044

Update: I'm heading to AMF Towson Lanes instead. I should arrive there around 1:30pm.

Eric Huber
How do you like your ball?

Andrea Lucido
Minds in the Gutter Team I was told schedules will be posted on Thursday.

Bill Raczka
Hey team. Let's keep our minds in the gutter, our hands on a beer and our eyes on our balls. See y'all on Sunday.

Eric Huber
I'm may be very rusty. I'm going to hit up a bowling alley in a day or two to practice

Andrea Lucido
Eric no worries. This is for fun. Glad to have you on our team.

Farah Nawaz
Im looking forward to meeting you all!!

Eric Huber
Our game doesn't start until 240. Are you all still planning to be there by 1 to hang around?

Bill Raczka
Andrea, Carla and I will arrive at the bowling alley around 2:20pm on Sunday. We look forward to meeting our new teammates and having a great time.

Ayonna T
Can't wait to meet ya'll!

Farah Nawaz
On my way

Farah Nawaz
DAmmit! I thought it was at 12:40p and I thought I was running late. Well, Im here now... going to stay. No point in leaving and coming back.

Lyle Grossi
I am going to be like 10 minutes late..sorry y’all!

Bill Raczka
Communications: Team MITG, I find that using this website for communications is a bit cumbersome. As such, I am going to share my mobile number for receipt of texts and phone calls. This will allow you to contact me directly if you are running late or have some team-related communications. Some people are uncomfortable with sharing phone numbers, so I will not ask anyone to do that. It will be your choice.

YAY! Great win team. I had a lot of fun bowling yesterday. It was nice to divert my attention away from crazy life stuff. I didnt anticipate loving it as much as I did. Ive aded a lot to my calendar to stay busy since moving back to the area but I am looking into finding some time to go to the alley and practice. I live close to a Brunswick Lanes. I will be ready for next match. I dont mind sharing my number with everyone but I wasnt sure if our team wall is private for just members to see.
I hope everyone has a great week! See you next Sunday!!

Andrea Lucido
Farrah, had a blast. Love our team. Bill and Carla and I were talking about getting some practice in. Can you check at Brunswick Bowling if they have specials on Tues, Thurs, Fri or Sat? We can come practice with you if you don’t mind, if the prices are reasonable.

Theresa Difabrizio
I can’t make it this week, but if you guys do practice during the week let me know!

Bill Raczka
Team:
I have a suggestion for our bowling activities. I have already checked with the bowling alley personnel and our Better Off Bowling coordinator. I just need to gain consensus before implementing this change.
With 7 or 8 people bowling each week, a person waits approximately 7 minutes between turns on the alley. This makes it difficult to get any rhythm. It also hampers the social time and our ability to deal with the trivia questions. Here is my proposal.
Have 4 people bowling at a time. The other 3 or 4 bowlers can then socialize, eat, answer trivia questions and cheer on the bowlers. It should take 4 bowlers approximately 30 minutes to complete one game. Additionally, each person will only have to wait approximately 3 minutes between turns.
We have 90 minutes on the lane. So, the 1st 30 minutes is group 1, the 2nd 30 minutes is group 2 and the final 30 minutes (or less) is available for practice for anyone interested in throwing a few more balls down the alley.
If we agree, I will show up to the alley with enough time to give the bowling alley our list of bowlers for game #1, game #2 and final practice. They will program the names for us.
Please provide your feedback by Friday, Feb 8th so I can assess the team’s willingness to adopt this process and get the list of names drawn up for Sun, Feb 10th.
Your bowling buddy,
Sweet Willy

Carla Parr
Hey Sweet Willie, I'm willing to try it and see how it goes, but I'm not sure it'll help my rythm 😝 I'll go with the group consensus.

Eric Huber
I vote yes

Ayonna T
Sure!
