Hi guys. I have to head to NC on emergency leave due to a death in the family (my grandmother...who I've always been very close to). She's been on hospice, so not totally unexpected, but still totally sucks. I'm not sure when I'll be back, so there's a chance I won't make next week either...but I know you guys will kick butt. I'm really sorry. I was totally looking forward to today and super excited, even bringing an extra cheerleader (my other half), but now that will have to wait. Good luck tonight!!!

Ok another update...good and bad. After much consideration and several conversations with my mom today, I've made the decision not to go to NC. There's nothing I can do there today and I'm already slated to visit in November. She's having surgery then and she'd rather I take my time off then..so I'll just have to miss our last match. But on a positive note, I'll be there today...just might be a little late...so please just skip me until I can get there. And also, I really appreciate the warm messages some of you have already sent my way...that means a lot..and I'll accept hugs once I'm there too!:) I realize that doing things I love (like bowling) will help me with this difficult time more than anything...so I look forward to seeing you guys.
