Hi team! I just wanted to put out a reminder that this team is for the PDX single 30’s meetup group. If you have joined this team thinking it’s just a free agent team you might want to switch teams. Hi Team! Just a reminder that the start date is tentatively July 23rd now. It was set for tomorrow, but as phase 2 reopening is postponed, Bowling is not yet allowed. With the spike in cases it wouldn’t surprise me if it will be pushed back to August. BOB hasn’t been good at communicating date changes so when I notice a change I’ll try to let everyone know. Cheers!

Oh damn, they sent out an email a little over a week ago delaying the start to August 6. Sorry you missed it! I'm skeptical it'll even start then though.

They keep postponing the start date and failing to notify us. I’m writing them an email now about them failing to at least email us. Sorry I didn’t the last change since I just had surgery. I have to log into the website to see the new date to find out. Assume any start date is tentative and view the website before showing up. The newest date is August 27th, but I’m sure it will be continued to be pushed back till the fall. With rising COVID numbers and certain counties going back to full baseline stay at home orders I doubt we’ll get to phase 2 anytime soon.

The new tentative start date is January 21. Please update your calendars. We’re almost at a year of being continually postponed. What what is everyone’s thoughts about canceling the team versus continuing to stay with this?

I will stick it out as long as there are enough people sticking it out to form our team. If others drop I probably will too as I don’t want my money tied up that long if there’s a potential we won’t have a team and get booted later.

The start date is now Jan 28th. Please update your calendars. I’d like to think that this will happen, but I don’t see the rules changing in the next month or two. COVID rates are still too high. Hopefully as the vaccines roll out things will improve.

Update your calendars for a February 25th start date. I feel like they are way too optimistic about these start dates... Realistically this won’t happen till the summer with the way things are going.

We’re pushing back to April 22nd now, so update your calendars. I emailed BOB last week since the lanes are now open, but have lane limits to only 5 people, every other lane. They said they are going to wait for the limits to relax enough for them to run the full 6-8 person teams. That means we could still have a wait for things to get rolling again.

It looks like we’re starting this week! I emailed BOB to confirm since our county is back up to a high risk level. If it changes I’ll let you know, but for now please plan on bowling Thursday night.
If you aren’t able to participate in the league please let me know ASAP so I can try to find a replacement for your spot as we’re at the minimum player count.

Hi everyone! We bowl at 6:30pm on Thursday! It says we’re on lane 1, but I don’t think that’s accurate so let’s plan on meeting at the tap house around 6:15. When you arrive go to the check in desk and get your shoes. See you then!
